My latest job is a wood store commission. I was asked to design and build a storage unit for firewood. The design process isn’t anything to shout about except it needed to be quite shallow as the firewood isn’t going to be any longer than about 250mm. I’m using treated rough sawn wood and all the cut edges treated with wood preserver. I’ve added a centre shelf to aid in stable stacking of the short lengths of wood.
It’s all packaged on a delivery trolley ready for delivery next week.
